According to Future of Jobs 2023 report, surveyed companies predicted that 44% of workers’ skills would be disrupted in the following five years.
This surveyed companies also report that the two first skills required today, and will a strong need of reskilling, are cognitive skills: Analytical thinking and creative thinking.
Three other cognitive skills are ranked among the twenty first skills: Systems thinking in 11th position, reading, writing and mathematics in 16th and Multi-lingualism in 18th position. All these skills are one the rise, respondents considering these skills to be increasing in importance.
Again, according to the World Economic Forum, among these skills, Analytical thinking and creative thinking are increasingly important firstly for Managing Directors and Chief Executives. And system thinking is in second position among the roles in the organisation.
